Is it safe to upload forms with my ID or passport number?

Files and details are encrypted in transit and at rest, and ID numbers, banking details and answers are encrypted again under a server-side key before they reach the database. Only you, and the people you choose to send a document to, can open them.

Your saved details and every document's answers and signatures are encrypted by DocFilla itself, under a key derived for your account, before they are stored. A copy of the database on its own cannot reveal them.

When a form is read to find its blanks, only the blank form is analysed. Your saved details and your answers are never sent to the AI provider.
