Sending a form to other people

Can I send a form to someone else to fill in or sign?

Yes. Send a document for signing and each person gets a link by email to sign the fields marked for them, at once or in turn. Keep a form as a template and send it for completion: everyone gets their own copy to fill in, and each copy comes back to your Documents.

Send for signing is for one document that several people sign: a lease, a contract, a consent form. Mark each person's fields, choose whether they sign together or in turn, and press Send. Each person opens a link on their phone, signs, and can pass with a note if they should not sign. The document updates as each one signs.

Send for completion is for a form you send again and again: a FICA pack, an application, a membership form. Your part is filled once and locked on every copy; every field marked for the receiver is required; each completed copy returns as its own document.

Links work for seven days. You can remind, cancel and resend from the document. Nobody you send to needs a DocFilla account, though if they have one their own saved details fill in first.
