Filling in a form

What are saved details, and what do they fill in?

Saved details are the facts about you that forms keep asking for: names, date of birth, nationality, contact details, address, employer, bank details, next of kin and your business's public details. Once saved, they fill the matching questions on every form.

You choose which details to save, and you can change or delete any of them in My details. ID and passport numbers and income are not saved: you type those on each form that asks for them.

Each answer that came from your details is marked on the form, so you can see at a glance what was filled for you and what you typed. Change any of them on the form without changing the saved detail.

Saved details are encrypted under a key derived for your account before they reach the database, and are used only to fill your own forms.
